I work for a company that, in the case of a new device, prescribes Chrome OS devices. But some of my collegues are Windows-die-hards. They wanted an app that would monitor several mail boxes and claimed that this was only possible with a Windows app. I had to install the app (meetfranz.com) on the Windows laptop of my wife to see what its features are.
I quickly found 2 alternatives in the Chrome Web Store:
1. WhatsGreen Multi Messenger
(https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/whatsgreen-multi-messenge/hghboaddldelomajhcbaodenhafikghj?utm_source=chrome-app-launcher)
2. Checker Plus for Gmail™ (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/checker-plus-for-gmail/oeopbcgkkoapgobdbedcemjljbihmemj?utm_source=chrome-app-launcher)
But now I had to delete the Windows app. I used Windows for 25 years, but I completely forgot, since in Chrome OS it is so simple: go to the app, push right mouse button, and push on "uninstall".
Fortunately I could call my ICT consultant, and after some hassle with TeamViewer, they could help me.
